Carolyn Tantanella specializes in fine decorative arts using watercolor and digital paint as well as tapestry weaving and finishing.
Her work circles around themes of magic, the metaphysical, inner discovery, afterlife, and the esoteric. It holds both melancholy and comfort in each hand.
The visual style is reminiscent of children’s storybooks or nursery rhymes. She uses repeating motifs to reinforce meaning while remaining aesthetically winsome.
